76-year-old Tahera Begum, who suffered from severe stomach pain, was brought to Evercare Hospital Dhaka following the advice of her granddaughter, who is a doctor. Here the patient was treated under Dr. PK Saha, Senior Consultant, Department of General and Laparoscopic Surgery. After the ultrasonography, the report showed that Mrs. Tahera had gallbladder and common bile duct stones. Soon after, the patient underwent two types of complex surgery in a single session under the supervision of General, Laparoscopic and Bariatric Surgeon Prof. Dr. PK Saha. It is the first time a surgery like this has been done in Bangladesh, and Dr. PK Saha is the only one to do it. The patient’s son is giving details about this.
