Dr. Tamzeed Ahmed

With over 27 years of experience in the field of Interventional Cardiology, Dr. Tamzeed Ahmed is one of the most experienced physicians in performing Coronary, Carotid and Peripheral Angiogram and Angioplasty through the radial and femoral method. Additionally he is highly skilled in Intra-cardiac device implantations.
He obtained his MBBS from Chittagong Medical College in 1988. After that he joined the Institute of Post-Graduate Medicine and Research.
He obtained MRCP from the Royal College of Physicians in the United Kingdom (UK) in 1995.
Dr. Tamzeed underwent fellowship training in Cardiology at renowned Wentworth Hospital under University of Natal, Durban, South Africa and completed in 1999.
He then worked in King Abdul Aziz Cardiac Centre Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, a premier Cardio Vascular Institute of the Middle East.
Dr. Tamzeed became Fellow of Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow (FRCP) in 2005 and American College Cardiology (FACC) in 2007. He also became Fellow of society of Cardiac Interventions of USA (FSCAI).
Dr. Tamzeed also obtained adjunct title of ‘Professor’ conferred by Apollo Hospitals Education and Research Foundation, India in 2018.
Before Joining to Evercare Hospital Dhaka, He worked at Ibrahim Cardiac Hospital & Research Centre Dhaka.
